The tables were turned when outdoor bowlers from Brentwood Bowls Club (BBC) made their annual visit for a friendly against Stonyhill on Saturday January 7.
The visitors, still smarting from an all-rinks defeat last year, took their revenge by beating their hosts by 95 points to 64 overall.

Stonyhill match secretary Stewart Cameron welcomed the visitors and presented small gifts to players on the top home rink.
BBC vice-captain Fred Wasmuth responded and presented gifts to his top rink players. He said his members had enjoyed ‘a great afternoon’ and added: “We look forward to coming back again.”
He thanked the Stonyhill hospitality team – Wendy, Fran and Karen – for serving up a delicious meal of cottage pie with vegetables, followed by chocolate gateau and cream.
